Pearl Lake Good TimesPearl Lake Dive Season 2014 Gallery

At Pearl Lake, fun times prevailed this past 2014 training season.  There were lots of new students reaching their goals in becoming PADI certified divers.  With Jimmy Buffett playing as our soundtrack, we succeeded in working hard, having fun, and basically, living the dream.

Pearl Lake Conditions

Pearl Lake’s conditions were wonderful this season, though we have had better visibility in past years.  Still, the average viz was in the 15 to 20 ft range.  Temperatures averaged from mid 50’s early in the season to the mid 70’s by the end of the summer above the first thermocline.  The weather for the most part, cooperated with our needs.  We had mostly clear, sunny skies with an occasional shower.  Having the protective pavilion protected us all from fowl weather.  No one went hungry either.  Toucan Dive always had plenty of snacks, and a filling barbeque for those hungry divers.

Great Photos

Check out the great photos of all the divers and staff having a great time this past season at Pearl Lake.  If you didn’t make it out this past season, hopefully, you’ll join us the coming year.   Remember.  Scuba diving is a perishable skill.  So keep diving!  See if you find yourself in the photos!
