Nassau Bahamas: Is It For You?
Nassau, is it for you? Divers have all sorts of dive tastes! Some love diving the currents of Cozumel! Some get excited diving the wrecks of North Carolina and Truk Lagoon! Others prefer large animal sightings! Many get excited about beautiful, decorated coral walls! So one has to ask the question, is Nassau diving for me?
Well, if a diver’s specificity is too tight, a diver might be disappointed with Nassau! Unfortunately for these ones, Nassau has it all and more! Beautiful, colorful walls, with large schools of fish so thick they block out the sun!
Our poor reef divers! Wrecks litter the walls and coraled slopes! Some of the wrecks from the movies, Thunderball, and Never Say Never Again, from the James Bond cannon, await the more diverse diver!
Our wreck divers will be so disappointed with this destination! Big animals! This is big animal Grand Central Station! Turtles and eagle rays fly over their colorful, aquatic domain! Inquisitive barracuda sidle up to divers as they frolic over the reefs! And sharks! Lots and lots of sharks!
So unless your are prepared to be a more diverse and forgiving diver, you will not want to go to this place! There’s too much of everything! if, on the other hand, you find excitement and adventure in the thrill of diving and seeing all Nassau has to offer, this destination is for you!
