Response, the definition of: A response is a reaction to a question, experience, or some other type of stimulus. In the structure of the first responder course, an emergency and your reaction, creates the response needed for a positive outcome in the emergency.
In the First Responder course you will learn the CPR, AED and oxygen components, and cover the knowledge needed to address serious medical emergencies. Using this knowledge can possibly save a life!
The first aid program reviews common techniques to treat serious emergencies, as well as less serious, more common issues. For example, you will learn to treat burns, serious bleeding, and broken bones.
The Particulars
The course is a mix of elearning, videos, and, in addition, 2 evening sessions with focused hands-on skills development. Upon completion of the course you will receive certification. This certification is also a prerequisite for the Padi or SDI Rescue Diver course. Price for the course is $100.00 plus elearning code.
