Municing Bay Wreck Diving Weekend

Rick Smith   Aug 11, 2025

Munising, Michigan, is a quiet town with a graveyard of shipwrecks, perfectly preserved by Lake Superior's cold waters!

Unlike saltwater wrecks that corrode and collapse over time, these shipwrecks in Lake Superior remain amazingly intact. The cooler temperatures and a lack of salt slow decay, making Munising one of the best places in North America for recreational wreck diving. Divers can explore wooden schooners, steamships, and barges dating back to the 1800s, each with its own story, all within a short boat ride from the pier!

These wrecks such as the Bermuda, The Smith-Moore, and the Steven Selvick tug, await the divers wishing to persue them, and they're there waiting for you!

The dive dates are Saturday, and Sunday, September 20th & 21st, with 2 days of 2 tank dives!  Accommodations Friday night, the 19th, and Saturday night, the 20th, double occupancy are also included!

The price for this amazing adventure weekend is $420.00!

Toucan Dive has only 12 spots on the boat so get your deposit in before it's sold out!!!
