Fun times diving in Cozumel

Fun times diving in Cozumel

Cozumel is one of the great diving destinations of the Caribbean.  The diving is pristine with unbelievable underwater visibility.  This is one of the reasons that we keep going back, and we want you to come along on this fabulous adventure starting Oct. 28- Nov. 4, 2017.

Cozumel’s Wall Flying Adventures

The Palancar barrier reef is the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world that starts in Cozumel and goes south from there.  The reefs are spectacular, and is one of the biggest draws to coming to Cozumel.  There is a constant drift that goes north along the wall, and pulls the divers along as they view the animal life, critters, and beautiful coral.

Some of the awesome sites to go to are on the south end of the island.  Dropping into the cobalt abyss on the great walls of  Santa Rosa and Columbia, and diving through the swim throughs at Palancar Caves, and Palancar Gardens will get any diver’s heart excited.   If your buoyancy is good, and you are an advanced diver, the divemasters can take you to Devil’s Throat in which you go inside a swim through, and into a series of underwater caverns, and then, you are blown out the exit onto the Punta Sur Wall.  Other great sites such as Punta Tunich, Paso Del Cedral, Yucab, Delilah and more, await your arrival to this awesome destination.

The Island, The People

Cozumel is a terrific island to visit even for the non diver.  There are plenty of watersports, as well as snorkeling, paragliding , jet skiing and fishing.  Touring the island, one can find quiet, isolated, white sandy beaches on the east side of the island for peace and tranquility. The town of San Pedro, however, is a busy hub for shops, markets, and restaurants with fantastic seafood, and wonderful Mexican cuisine.  Certainly, Cozumel has something for everyone.
